Family owned and operated

Degree Days Online is a family owned and operated company. Our family has been in the Fuel Oil Delivery Business since 1955.

This software was developed for us to manage our delivery company and we use it every day.

Rick Marr, who worked in fuel support at Rural Computer Consultants (RCC), retired after more than 40 years in the industry.

Marr joined RCC in 2014 when it acquired software company Data Control Corp. (DCC). DCC was founded in 1981 by Marr’s mother, and he worked at the family-owned and -operated company for decades prior to the acquisition.

Marr worked in RCC’s fuel support sector to assist customers, particularly helping those from DCC transition to RCC.

“When I was looking forward to an ultimate retirement, I wanted to be sure that the DCC customers had an excellent way to move onto the next stage of their business operations,” Marr says. “Rural Computer Consultants fit the bill.
